X-Pansion
Since Peter Wright was appointed as X-Treme’s new partner, the
company has enjoyed dramatic growth, attracting new clients and
increasing client satisfaction thanks to his wealth of knowledge in
food systems, HACCAP and Event Management. Peter’s knowledge in
tendering for large contracts in defence and sporting events has
proven x-tremely valuable to those food service operators trying to
break into this field.
Also exciting news is that X-Treme Global Consulting and Associates
has expanded, adding restaurateur to its group of businesses.
Following the successful lease of Roccs Bar and Restaurant at the
Saville Hotel, 133 Jolimont Road, South Melbourne, the team has
added the Morningside Services Club (481 Wynum Road Morningside,
Brisbane) to its bow.
This new club, which boasts a large function space and bustling
bistro, was in desperate need of help after the previous
restaurateur walked out on Easter Saturday! But Morningside wasn’t
out of action for long – the X-Treme team was in place and operating
on Tuesday for dinner, much to the delight of the club and its loyal
customers.

Great Friday
‘Just doing our best’ – that’s Glenn’s modest response when he’s
asked how his team is going… And trying their best is what
happens when someone asks the X-Treme team for a favour.
Back at Christmas time, the X-Treme team offered their support to
the Salvation Army, which works tirelessly to make the festive
season brighter for those in need. So when the X-Treme team was
asked to help out again at Easter, they were happy to oblige,
organising a great catch of fish for the Sydney branch’s Good Friday
lunch.
Thanks to the X-Treme team’s, and Glenn’s long time friend and
mentor Peter Howard’s help, the Salvation Army was able to provide a
fine meal to some very special people.
Pizza Envy
Dream of tasting slices of pizza made by some of the world’s best
chefs? Well, Glenn recently had this very opportunity when he jetted
to Las Vegas to be the international speaker and chair of the
judging panel at the Pizza World Championships.
And
it was the Australian team that took out the title for the third
year in a row, well and truly putting Aussie pizza on the map.
X-Treme
Consulting and Associates is as popular as pizza – it plays an
active part in the global pizza industry, and is increasingly sought
after for their international contacts.

Training
Training for the next Culinary Olympics is set to heat up next week
as the Australian team flies to Melbourne for a work out session at
Crown Casino.
Glenn and co-Manager Rick Stephens know just how much preparation is
needed to ensure the team’s success, so they’ve appointed Gary
Farrell as the Assistant Manager to the team, and Peter Wright as
Financial Controller.
The
‘Culinary Mate’ program continues to attract a lot of attention –
individuals can pledge donations from $5 to support the Australian
Culinary Olympic team. In March, an impressive $21,000 was pledged!

New
Clients on the Menu
Some new clients have recently signed up with X-Treme Consulting and
Associates, so get ready to spruce up your menu!
KR
Castlemaine has called on the X-Treme team to assist with their
relaunch to the food service industry and investigate new product
development opportunities.
Meanwhile, another much-wanted client – Golden Circle – has also
joined the X-Treme bunch. As the team is constantly pushing food
service boundaries, this reputable fruit company completes X-Treme’s
varied portfolio.
Another focus for the team is the Frozen Food Information Bureau (FFIB).
With an increasing number of food service clients freezing products
and moving away from canning, the FFIB is keeping X-Treme busy as
they promote the nutritional and environmental benefits of frozen
food.
School Tools
Did
you know that, equipped with the right knowledge, your food service
representative can increase bottom-lines sales, making a real
difference to your company?
Well, they can – when you find the right training. So, look no
further.
In
the coming months, X-Treme Consulting will offer a training module
designed especially for company food service reps. Through this
training, reps will gain a true insight into the workings, attitudes
