The World Association of Chefs' Societies (WACS)

The World Association of Chefs' Societies, or WACS in short, is a global network of chefs associations first founded in October 1928. Today, this global body has 72 official chefs associations as members. WACS is managed by an elected presidential body consisting of the WACS president, vice president, treasurer, secretary general and ambassador honourary president, as well as a board of continenal directors that look after the regions of Asia, Europe, Africa, the Pacific and the Americas. A separate committee manages all culinary competition-related affairs.

Australian Culinary Federation

The Australian Culinary Federation is the national organization representing professional Chefs, Cooks and Apprentices. We seek to participate and advise in the establishment, maintenance and improvement of national and international culinary standards.

The Global Pizza Challenge contest was set up to encourage and support the independent pizza sector and to encourage new ideas and innovation. Whether the pizzeria is a stand-alone restaurant, takeaway, part of a hotel, suburban outlet or in a trendy part of town – the competition is open to all individual pizza makers who care about their product.
